Hey. W'sup. How you doin'? Steve from Kangaralien here. I'm eating a delicious sandwich, so things are going pretty well. In stupider news, I mistakenly reached my hand into the spinning blades of my window fan, having previously decided that the protective plastic grill was hindering the effectiveness of said fan. I've still got all my fingers, but they're covered in what appears to be mayonnaise. Probably from the sandwich, now that I think of it. My fan is famously condiment-free.
Anyway, Eric and I, with help from our handsome friend Tony, have set up this page in an attempt to raise funds for our new record. Sites like Kickstarter, which perform the same function, have become increasingly popular among unsigned musicians and have helped facilitate many amazing projects. Cuz it's like rilly, rilly, 'spensive to make a rekkid. No, like, for serious.
So. Our hope is to offset some of our expenses. Specifically: artwork, graphic design, mastering, and CD duplication. But aside from those larger costs, donations help us take time out of our work schedules to make the record happen. Also I need gas money to get from Lynn to Haverhill all the danged time. Also also I just bought a new condenser mic and audio interface to make inter-continental recording sessions possible. And perhaps the biggest expense is Necco Wafers. The sugar helps me keep up with Eric's lightning-fast playing and the dust from the wafers ensures I don't drop my pick during a good take.
